Hello! I'm a recent computer science graduate of St. Olaf College currently working as a Genius for Apple.
My rise to computer scientist and love for technology began when my parents allowed me to use the family computer to play "Carmen Sandiego" and "Arthur's Reading Race" with my sister. From there I became an avid gamer on platforms like PC, Playstation, and Xbox (which is a hobby that may or may not have stayed with me)...Anywho, as technology grew, so did I and while living in Ohio for a time, I took a course on animations and simple template website creations and proceeded to make joke animations and sites.
Through high school I had gained a love of languages and began learning Arabic (and continued my French education) which I continued into college. By the end of my first year at St. Olaf College I had thought I had my life planned out. I would continue my education in Arabic and eventually find a way to work for the state department (or C.I.A. and be an awesome spy). However after my first course in computer science, with Professor Richard Allen, I saw all the ways I could help people using technology. One quick switch of my major at the registrar's office, and I was where I felt I truly belonged.
When my eyes aren't glued to a screen they're either peering through a camera lens, studying routes for a climb, or looking for a new trail to run on.
